New entrée for the reception of the department for robitics and embedded systems at the Technical University Munich in Garching.
All furniture and accsoires had to be built from non-combusible materials due to fire regulations. The partition wall consisting of lasercut sheet metal and two glass pieces were individually designed and manufactured. They accompany the chairs made of cast aluminum (chair one) and the lasercut steel-lamp (dandelion) to from a unified whole: All piece are based on primary geometric shapes (circle, triangle, square), which vary in size. Through the white coating of the steel, the robuste nature of the material is played down. These white structures cast shadows onto the white walls and flooring, thus creating a rich and sensual spatial experience.
